Are you ready to transform Holocaust survivor care?

With a grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living/Administration on Aging and funds raised through private philanthropy, The Jewish Federations of North America’s Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care awards subgrants to help community-based organizations advance person-centered, trauma-informed (PCTI) supportive services for Holocaust survivors in the United States.

This program is implemented with strong cooperation from the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Subgrantees develop, implement and evaluate innovative programs in PCTI care for Holocaust survivors, and earn recognition as leaders in Holocaust survivor supportive services and person-centered, trauma-informed care.

Members of this incredibly diverse group vary in terms of size, location, and types of innovative services. Together, they form a community of practice, sharing ideas and promising practices through phone calls, webinars, and in-person training workshops. The Center provides hands-on service and support to advance subgranteee programs.

Subgrants are awarded in two year terms with a financial match component. Funds are dependent upon compliance with program requirements and the availability of federal funds.
